Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 13 I also like shooting at my local SSAA club and won the Rimfi re Target Class Junior Encouragement Award for 2017, this is a special time for me as my grandad takes me to the range. My club is great and they always encourage me. I was invited to attend the SSAA NSW Junior Development camp that was held in Griffi th in April. I cannot describe how wonderful this experience was. I met so many wonderful people and I've learnt so many new skills and was able to try a lot of different types of shooting that I'd never experienced before. Our mentors and coaches were amazing. I've formed wonderfully close friendships and can't wait for next year's camp. I thoroughly recommend it to all junior shooters. If you have the opportunity to go to one of these camps, grab it with both hands. I feel very lucky to live somewhere that I can experience so many different varieties of shooting. My local clubs have all been so supportive and encouraging of my shooting and I would like to thank them all for their ongoing support. I believe that, as a shooter, I have a responsibility to show people what a great sport we have, and if I can change one person's mind about what they thought shooting was, then I am very happy. So, my advice to all young shooters is to believe in yourself and anything is possible. With hard work, determination and a passion for our sport, the sky's the limit.
