Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 15 SSAA NSW will always be working to improve the program and system, which is why we are now trialling a new thermal printer receipt. This thermal printer will help save printing costs for Branches and it's a more durable device then the current printer we use. The thermal printer is currently only available at ranges with a power supply, until we can trial a suitable device that doesn't require power. SSAA NSW recently released a new update to the system which allows SSAA NSW members to have their attendance receipts emailed to them directly, using the email address they have previously provided. This helps the Branch to save on printing and paper and allows the member to have an electronic paper trail of all their compulsory attendances. This will also provide easy access to all receipts, if validation is required from Firearms Registry or a club. The email receipt feature works via an internet connection, when the Branch syncs their attendance data to the SSAA NSW State Offi ce. Once a member has completed an attendance and has clicked on the email receipt option, the receipt won't be emailed until the Branch syncs the data to the State Offi ce. Members may experience a slight delay with receiving their emailed receipt. If your Branch has the Electronic Attendance System but does not yet have the new email receipt feature, please notify the Branch. We will then organise to have the update rolled out to the Branch.
