14 The new SSAA NSW is modern, member focused, forward facing and, most of all, enjoyable for all. " " RANGE DEVELOPMENT Despite COVID-19, we have been able to invest in range development and we look forward to doing more in 2021. It is great to work with dedicated Branches and clubs, in the interests of the sport. Much work has been done in this space all over NSW. I am pleased to announce that the funding for the Dubbo range is coming through now and we look forward to seeing a completed range by the end of next year. SSAA NSW is in the business of completing projects and we have added resources to this very important key task. I look forward to updating you in the new year on range development. THANK YOU AND MERRY CHRISTMAS As I complete my second year at SSAA NSW, I would like to thank our fantastic members and volunteers who work so hard and make the job that much more enjoyable. As the CEO of one of the largest sporting organisations in Australia, it has been an amazing experience so far, despite the hurdles of COVID-19. I hope you can see the positive changes that are being implemented to ensure that the new SSAA NSW is modern, member focused, forward facing and, most of all, enjoyable for all. A big thank you must go to our President, Lance Miller, and the entire Board who work extremely hard all year round. Their passion for the sport is inspiring and despite being volunteers, they work harder than any Board of which I have been a part. Lance has travelled all over the state, lead hundreds of meetings and been a fierce advocate for us. Our Board's strong management and dedication has put us in a great position moving forward. Also, a big thank you to our staff who are a part of the positive change. They have worked extremely hard this year, ensuring we continue to provide top-tier services to our members through the unpredictable challenges of COVID-19. Even when the office had to close, the team quickly adapted to ensure systems were maintained, the increased workload was covered and it was "business as usual" for our members. Lastly, on behalf of the SSAA NSW team, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and safe and prosperous new year. 2021 will be a big year for us all. As always, see you at the range or out in the field! Jai.
