Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 4 We're thrilled to say that the 2014 SSAA SHOT Expo was our biggest and best event ever! On Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 June, over 10,000 visitors descended on Rosehill Gardens for the 2014 SSAA SHOT Expo in Sydney . . . and what an Expo! "One of the greatest things we saw over the weekend was the amount of shooters who had brought along their non-shooting friends and family to the Expo. By the end of the weekend I think quite a few of the non-shooters had been converted." An event this size is not possible without the assistance of so many people. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers for their hard work on making the Expo such a huge success. Thanks for giving up your time across the weekend to be a part of the event, we would not have been able to achieve this result without you. And finally to the members of the shooting community who once again came out to support this event and be part of showcasing the safe, fun and unique range of shooting sports – well done! The firearm section is relatively new (Oct 2013) and this event was an excellent opportunity to let people know about our exciting new section. Nothing speaks louder than results and every day since the Expo at least 5 new customers looking to purchase came to our shop as a result of seeing us at the Expo. Thank you SSAA SHOT Expo for giving us the opportunity to quickly expand our customer base." "The 2014 SSAA SHOT Expo was great for exhibitors and guests alike with the largest range of guns, services and products you will see in one place in Australia." "I believe it was the best Expo to date, will be back bigger and better next year. Thanks to all involved." All the big brands were on show, new and unique products and exhibitors in the market. International representatives were also among the brands supporting the release of their new products. More exhibitors, more for visitors to see and more for families! It was great to see mums and dads coming through the Expo with their kids, having their faces painted, jumping on the jumping castle and watching the beautiful gun dogs in action. Two of the biggest attractions were the SSAA NSW Indoor Shooting Range which had thousands of visitors over the weekend, both young and old; and the Field to Fork demonstrations, which showed how to take a trophy, skin and butcher an animal, make sausages and also preserve meat.
