Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 12 2014 SSAA NSW RIMFIRE BENCHREST STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October 2014 Light and Heavy Rimfire from 50 and 100 yards over 2 days Hosted at the Harry Luhr Range, Silverdale NSW Saturday 4 – Light Rimfire 50 and 100 yards, 7am weigh-in and 9am start Sunday 5 – Heavy Rimfire 50 and 100 yards, 7am weigh-in and 9am start Nominations for both events required by September 20. Fee: $45 per class. Licence and membership card will be required. Please advise if sharing flags or equipment (owner's name required). Accepted late entries will incur a $10 late fee and you may not be able to share flags or equipment. Camping on range permitted by calling 02 4653 1440, other accommodation is available locally. ST MARYS JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM If you're aged between 12 – 17 years and want to get involved in the safe, fun and unique range of shooting sports, sign-up for the Junior Development Program at the St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre. The 12-week program aims to instil safe firearm handling, encourage responsible and ethical behaviour, and teach basic shooting techniques and procedures to help take shooting sports to the next generation. Details: All courses are run on Saturdays and a parent or legal guardian must attend the induction day on Saturday 4 October 2014. The Program runs until 20 December 2014. ST MARYS INDOOR SHOOTING CENTRE (SMISC) RANGE FEE INCREASE A message for the shooters and members who attend SMISC. Please be advised that from Wednesday 1 October 2014 there will be a fee increase of $2 for range and competition attendances. ST MARYS INDOOR SHOOTING CENTRE (SMISC) EARLY CLOSURE ON 17 OCTOBER AT 5PM Please note that the St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre and its shooting ranges will be closing at 5pm on Friday 17 October. Opening hours will return to normal from the next day. DEER BUTCHERING & CAPING DEMONSTRATION An initiative of SSAA NSW Sydney Branch.
