Do you own a 50 Calibre and don't know where you can shoot it? Did you know Tilterweira Station has the only range currently approved in NSW for 50 Calibre? We're calling upon members who would be prepared to travel to Tilterweira to shoot 50 Calibre to make contact with so we can gauge interest in the further development of range and other facilities on the Station. • Tilterweira Station currently has a 500m range approved for 50 Calibre with plans on the table for a 2.5km range. • The Station offers members comfortable fully self-contained shearers quarters able to cater for up to 15 visitors at a time. • Tilterweira is located approximately 200km north west of Bourke – approximately 12 hours drive from Sydney. If you'd like to find out more about Tilterweira and express your intention to visit, please email Ben at the SSAA NSW Office on ben@nsw.ssaa.org.au before 19 December 2014. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 50 Calibre Range – Tilterweira Friendly Attendance Reminder The end of the attendance year is fast approaching and some of our SSAA NSW members may not have met their longarms attendance requirements for the 2014/15 reporting year which will finish on 31 March 2015. NSW firearms licence holders are required to have a 'Genuine Reason' for holding their longarms licence, such as target shooting, hunting or collecting. Licence holders who use club membership to support the 'Genuine Reason' for holding their longarms licence are required to provide proof of actively fulfilling their attendance requirements. The minimum number of attendances required each reporting year are: • 4 for target shooting • 2 for hunting • 1 for collecting At the end of each attendance year, SSAA NSW is required to advise the NSW Firearms Registry of any members who have not met their annual attendance requirements. In order for us to provide this information, we keep a record of attendances for SSAA activities on behalf of all our members. If you have any questions about your attendances please email us at attendances@nsw.ssaa.org.au.
