Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 14 EARLY AUSTRALIA DAY RIFLE METALLIC SILHOUETTE MATCHES Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January 2015 Hosted at SSAA ACT Majura Range – veer left off Federal Highway then turn right onto Majura Road, about 10km north of Canberra CBD, then 400m and turn left into Hector Macintosh Grove (gun club's sign) and take the second gate on the right. Friday 16 January: Dawn to 8.30am practice and weigh-in, 9.00am 80 shots air rifle. Saturday 17 January: Dawn to 8.30am practice and weigh-in, 9.00am 80 shots rimfire rifle. Sunday 18 January: Dawn to 8.30am practice and weigh-in, 9.00am 80 shots centrefire rifle. Presentations at end of shooting at the clubhouse. While in the ACT, please carry your home state's firearms registration or shooter's licence. Fee: $20 Air Rifle, $25 Rimfire, $25 Centrefire, $60 all three events. Juniors/Pensioners: $10 Air Rifle, $15 Rimfire, $15 Centrefire, $35 all three events. Canteen facilities available for the weekend. Camping on range available with water, power and showers for a fee of $5 per person per night. Juniors no charge. SSAA NSW OFFICE CHRISTMAS CLOSURE DATES The SSAA NSW Office will close on Friday 19 December and reopen in the New Year on Monday 5 January 2015. ST MARYS INDOOR SHOOTING CENTRE (SMISC) CHRISTMAS CLOSURE DATES A message for the shooters and members who attend SMISC. The Centre will close early at 4pm on 19 December, 5pm on 24 December and 5pm on 31 December. The Centre will be closed on Christmas Day 25 December, Boxing Day 26 December and New Year's Day 1 January. DEER BUTCHERING & CAPING DEMONSTRATION An initiative of SSAA NSW Sydney Branch.
