Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 10 NSW BENCHREST MEMORIAL SHOOT Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March Held at the Harry Luhr Range in Silverdale. Saturday 7 March: 7am weigh-in, 9am Light Benchrest 100 and 200 yards. Sunday 8 March: 7am weigh-in, 9am Heavy Benchrest 200 and 100 yards. Fee: $50 per class. Please advise if sharing flags/equipment and with whom. Please bring your licence and membership card. Pre-registration essential and required by 27 February. Late entries may or may not be accepted. If accepted, a $10 late fee will apply and you will not be able to share flags/equipment. Please note that the Range requires mandatory use of steel feet discs under your front stand. Range facilities include clubhouse, canteen, toilets and showers. Camping on the range is permitted with prior arrangement, contact Andy Mallen by calling 02 4653 1440. Hotel and caravan park accommodation is available locally. For more information on the event contact Dave Billinghurst on 0418 478 160 or billo43@bigpond.com. 2015 CITY VS COUNTRY Friday 13, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March SSAA NSW Mudgee Branch is hosting the annual City VS Country competition at the Windamere Regional Shooting Complex, Castlereagh Highway, Cudgegong. The competition will see a range of historical military rifles and modern service pistols go head to head in the ultimate battle for bragging rights between contestants from all over NSW. Friday 13 March: 8:30am Sign in for Service Pistol, Training Rifle and Martini Cadet. Saturday 14 March: 8:30am Sign in for Standard Rifle, Rapid Fire and Metallic Silhouette. Sunday 15 March: 8:30 Sign in for Accurised/Modified Rifle, Rapid Fire and Tactical Match. Fee: $60 for all events, juniors pay half price. RSVP on the website or contact by email/phone. There is free camping at range available from Thursday to Sunday with hot showers and toilets. Accommodation is also available in nearby Rylstone. Free sausage sizzle lunch each day, drinks and snacks available for purchase. For more information email info@nswcsd.com.au or call Anthony Gatti on 0499 987 899. 2015 BANANACOAST IRB Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March SSAA NSW Coffs Harbour Branch is holding its Bananacoast IRB Championships, an Open Rimfire two-day shoot at the Dairyville Range in Coffs Harbour. Nominations are now open and can be made via the website. There are only 45 places available. Practice + flag placement available Friday 13 from 10am to 2pm. Fee: Nominations $90 and juniors $50. Nominations close 22 February or when the shoot is full, so please nominate early. ANZACS 100 YEARS - COLLECTORS MEETING A special Collectors Meeting will be held on Monday 9 February at 7pm at the St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre, 30 Power Street St Marys, Sydney NSW 2760. Further meeting dates to be released at the meeting. Please note: the meeting is open to any current SSAA members; you don't have to be a collector to attend.
