Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 4 Anzac Military Rifl e Shoot at St Marys Commemorating the 100 year anniversary of our Anzacs On Wednesday 22 April St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre held a Military Rifl e Shoot competition in honour of our Anzacs. It was a unique and challenging 50 metre shoot which required all fi rearms to be as issued service rifl es with no scopes or range sights and included a compulsory reload. There was a good turnout for the event and despite the happy demeanour of competitors, competition was fi erce. All shooters were striving to win the fantastic prizes on offer which were donated by SSAA NSW, SSAA NSW Sydney Branch and St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre. The winners: 1st place – Marc Kuipers 2nd place – Mitch Newbery 3rd place – Frank Gasparini The shoot was enjoyed by all, so much so there were calls that the match be held for Remembrance Day and Anzac Day in the future.
