can be made online. This is a formal competition using a
range of historical military rifl es and modern service pistols.

Details: Nominations for rimfi re classes Light, Heavy and
International are $50 each with juniors half price. Camping
on range permitted (advise beforehand) with clubhouse,
toilets, showers and barbecue facilities.
What: SSAA National Lever Action Championships
Where: Majura Park Gun Club, 50 Hector McIntosh Grove,
Majura ACT, north-east from Canberra
When: Saturday 3 to Monday 5 October

Details: Adults $35 per event or $90 for all three (rimfi re,
centrefi re and classic calibre) with juniors $17 per event or
$45 for all three. Camping on range permitted for $5 per
night to with facilities in the clubhouse.
What: Deer Butchering & Caping Demonstration
Where: Harry Luhr Range, Silverdale
When: 8am on Sunday 25 October (runs for six hours)

Details: $50 fee per person (in advance). Covers detailed
gutting, butchering and caping techniques demonstrated
on locally harvested deer and includes BBQ lunch and take
home fresh venison at the end.
