Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 9 were encouraged and accompanied by their parent or guardian. All visitors to the Range left with big smiles and proudly showed off their souvenir targets. The archery range was also a big hit, along with the variety of presentations including deer butchering, caping, sausage making and cooking demonstrations which were offered over the two days. Exhibitions, including hunting clubs, suppliers and outfi tters, boating, camping and 4WD, showcased the very latest services, products and technologies. Representatives of SSAA NSW, Sydney and Batemans Bay Branches were joined by staff of the Game Licensing Unit in the SSAA stand and over the weekend provided advice and answered queries for members and non-members on a wide variety of topics. The R-Licence assessments offered by SSAA NSW proved very popular as did the Safe Shooting Courses presented by SSAA NSW Sydney Branch. St Marys Indoor Shooting Centre also attended HuntFest with fi rearms and ammunition for sale as well as knives, hunting accessories and general shooting supplies. SSAA NSW would like to congratulate the organisers of HuntFest, South Coast Hunters Club and their President Dan Field on another tremendously successful event and applaud their dedication and hardwork despite having to face a number of challenges along the way. HuntFest is sure to continue to grow and attract more and more visitors in the years to come and SSAA NSW is proud to continue with its involvement and support of this fantastic event.
