Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 11
An information session on the Supplementary Pest Control
(SPC) Program proved very popular with over 20 members
attending – some travelling up from Sydney to attend.
The Mobile Air Rifle Range was positioned next to the SSAA
NSW tent and attracted hundreds of visitors who were
keen to try shooting. People of all ages, including children
under 18 with parent or guardian's permission experienced
the safe, fun and unique sport of shooting. It was good to
see the friendly competition between family members and
friends, with most leaving with a huge smile on their face and
clutching their targets along with a prized SSAA cap or mug.
The contribution of our fantastic volunteers played a huge
part in the success at this year's AgQuip. Thank you to
Mark, Richard and the volunteers from Gunnedah, Armidale
and Narrabri Branches. Without volunteers events like this
and many others that showcase our sport throughout the
year would not be possible.
