Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 10 SSAA NSW 5-Stand 3rd Selection Shoot Saturday 13 February This third selection shoot for shotgun will be hosted by SSAA NSW Griffith Branch at their range on Simms Road, on the Rankins Springs Road, 3km from Beelbangera, NSW. Competition will be 100 targets over two layouts (known targets) starting at 9am. Fee: Nominations Open AA, A, B, C $65. Veterans, Ladies and Juniors are $55. SSAA National Rimfire Championships Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 February Hosted by SSAA NSW Coffs Harbour Branch at the Dairyville Range. Thursday 18: Light Rimfire Friday 19: Heavy Rimfire Saturday 20 and Sunday 21: International Rimfire Benchrest Practice available Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17. Weigh-in 7.00am for 7.30am start. Fee: Nominations for Light and Heavy Rimfire are $50, International Rimfire Benchrest $100. Junior nominations half price. Nominations can me be made online only at www.ssaacoffsharbour.org.au. Info: This shoot is a second qualifier for the 2016 World Rimfire Championships and 2016 Pacific Regional Shooting Championships. Catered breakfast at 6am and lunch with tea and coffee provided. Practice and flag placement available Friday 13 from 10am to 2pm. Fee: Nominations are $90 with junior nominations $50. Nominations can be made online only at www.ssaacoffsharbour.org.au. Verbal nominations can only be accepted by Ray Munro or Danny Rosewood where the form can be completed online on your behalf, call Ray on 0408 649 126 or Danny on 0417 661 171. Info: This is an Open Rimfire two-day shoot limited to 45 competitors. Nominations close on February 22 or when shoot is full. Camping on range permitted but please advise beforehand. SSAA NSW Colonial Action State Titles Friday 25 to Sunday 27 March Hosted by SSAA NSW Mudgee Branch at the Windermere Shooting Complex, 40km from Mudgee on the Mudgee- Lithgow Road. Friday 25: 1pm start, long range rifle and muzzle loader matches, including the 'Quigley Down Under' long range shoot using cross sticks, the Stan Triggs Memorial and Bushranger clays. Saturday 26: 10am start, five scenarios Colonial Action and the SSAA NSW Colonial Discipline AGM at 4pm. Sunday 27: 9am start, three scenarios Colonial Action, Martini Cadet rifles can be used in some scenarios. Ammo rifle 70+ pistol 55+ shotgun 30+ martini 15+ and muzzle loader lots of ball. Fee: Nominations for men $30, women $20 and juniors $10. Info: SSAA NSW medals for first, second and third in each category, certificates for side events. Certificates also for the participant with the most authentic Colonial dress on the Saturday.Free sausage sizzle for lunch on Sunday. DEER BUTCHERING & CAPING DEMONSTRATION An initiative of SSAA NSW Sydney Branch.
