Try Shooting Day
Our TRY SHOOTING day proved extremely popular with over 25 people taking up the opportunity to have a
go at shooting. Many really enjoyed the day and have indicated they will return for more or as new members.
A great day of shooting was had with a wide range of the community in attendance. It was heartening to
see a majority of women and young shooters try their fi rst shoots on a range that dates back to the Boer
War. We even had the Range Trust Kangaroos turn up to say hello and were keen onlookers.
It is through Try Shooting Days that the shooting community reaches out to encourage people to leave false
impression behind and engage in a sport that arguably goes back to the fi rst human being tossing a rock.
Keep an eye out for the next Try Shooting Day later in the year and remember that you can try shooting at any
SSAA Goulburn Range Day by meeting age criteria, showing ID and fi lling in a P650 form.
