As members are aware, SSAA is a national organisation with approximately 180,000 members Australia-wide as well as 400 affiliated clubs. The national office of the association is situated in Wayville, South Australia as well as a membership/administration office in Plumpton, New South Wales. SSAAIB's head office is situated in Hazelwood Park, South Australia and is a niche brokerage with its staff being totally committed to SSAA members and clients. As well as servicing the needs of members, SSAAIB also arrange insurances for all types of professions within the firearms industry such as gun dealers, professional shooters and firearms trainers. SSAAIB is currently seeking a qualified insurance professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based in New South Wales with the full-time position including: • Managing the general insurance needs of SSAA NSW (55,000 members and 150 branches and affiliate clubs) and other clients including renewal of existing business, policy enquires and new business opportunities; • Promote the products and services of SSAAIB; and, • Liaise, negotiate and develop relationships with members, clients and underwriters. The successful candidate will possess: Tier 1 General Insurance Broking qualifications; Appropriate working knowledge of the insurance industry; Competent in Microsoft Office and Winbeat; and, Excellent customer service and communications skills.
