Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 17 While plenty of exhibitors were on hand to sell their extensive range of wares, one important role of the weekend from SSAA NSW's perspective was to introduce people to a variety of shooting disciplines. Our discipline stands of Benchrest, Big Game Rifl e, Combined Services, Colonial Action, Lever Action and Shotgun were amongst the best attended stands throughout the event. While dozens of exhibitors attended, the most popular, as always, were the big three of Winchester, Beretta and Remington, although many of the children in attendance took great interest in the off- road vehicles on display, even if some of them ended up being just a little too small to be able to even get into one of their own accord! We were also very fortunate to welcome Commonwealth Games gold medallist Laetisha Scanlan and former Olympic champion Russell Mark for an eagerly anticipated Q & A session on the Sunday morning, while Federal Sports Minister Senator Bridget McKenzie also dropped by the SSAA NSW stand. SSAA Shot Expo is run for you, our members, and the general public, and we're always open to hearing about new exhibitions that you want to see. If you attended this year, and there was an exhibit you would have liked to have seen, or something you would have liked to experience, please let us know and we will endeavour to ensure we cater for you at our next Expo! If you couldn't get along to the 2018 Expo, it will return to Sydney in 2020, with the October Expo this year headed for Perth. The 2019 shows are off to Brisbane and Melbourne, and we're already planning how to make the Sydney SHOT Expo 2020 an even bigger and better weekend out for the whole family!
