18 Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. SSAA NSW HuntFest was yet another outstanding success for recreational hunters. Thousands turned out across the June long weekend in near on picture perfect conditions to enjoy the splendour, sights, sounds and smells of the best of shooting, hunting and outdoor living in Narooma on the NSW South Coast. It truly is a family affair where we continue to see so many familiar faces returning year after year. What makes it even more memorable, and perhaps the most exciting for us, is the fact that the rivalries of who is the better shot on the SSAA NSW Mobile Air Rifl e Range between family members and friends still lingers on. None more so than Clint and Riley O'Connell, easily our most competitive father and son duo who were left both shocked and stunned after wondering whether we would recognise them from previous years. Not only did we recognise them, but we were on a fi rst name basis, which is not bad when you only see each other once every 12 months. Unfortunately, Clint, we think Riley has you pegged as the better shot. Keep it up guys, and we hope to see you again next year. It was also encouraging to see that from those who had shot for the fi rst time ever on the Mobile Air Rifl e Range in previous years had further explored the shooting SSAA NSW HuntFest Another outstanding success
