Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 9
Test Stake, arguably our most important stake as it
allows us to welcome new handlers and dogs to our
sport, had great performances from Sam's "Quinn" on
Saturday and Penny Angel's Nova Scotia Duck Tolling
Retriever "Angus" on Sunday.
While the Flat Coated Retriever contingent did not
come up with a win both Kirsty Blair's "Freja" and Rad
Miramon's "Chevy" retrieved in great style with Kirsty's
"Freja" placing second in Intermediate on Sunday.
The only Irish Setter in the fi eld, Jim Jeffrey's "Ruby"
worked consistently in a very competitive fi eld and
managed to place third in the Advanced Stake on
both days.
If you think that you and your dog would enjoy the
challenges and social interactions that our Working
Gundog Trials are famous for, please send an email
to: wgaansw@gmail.com
