SSAA NSW Noticeboard POSITIONS VACANT: SSAA (NSW) Sydney Branch Inc. are looking to fill the following positions. Executive Officer (Part Time, Minimum 3 Days per week) Silverdale Rifle Range Manager (Full Time, Rotating Roster) Under the guidance of the SSAA (NSW) Sydney Branch Inc. Executive the key responsibilities are: • Branch administration/management for the day to day operations. • Management of SSAA (NSW) Sydney Branch Inc. Staff, ensuring compliance with all legislative employment requirements. Responsible for recruitment and human resources functions. • Implementation of a strategic and business plan. • Assist with financial planning and management. • Provide guidance to the Sydney Branch Committee on internal matters including HR, legal, compliance and other issues that arise, and develop effective policy and procedures around ensuring proper corporate governance and effective processes for the Branch. • Ensure compliance with all WH&S, Firearms Registry and Firearms Act and Regulations. • Liaise with the relevant government departments, political interests, other firearms related clubs and organisations. • Management of the day to day running of the range. • Financial management of the facility including banking & accounts payable. • Managing Staff, rosters and training. • Co-ordinating volunteers, organise and overseeing the running of events/competitions. • Ensuring the highest possible safety standards are being met. • Maintain licensing and permit requirements for the range, perform the duties of the Club Armourer/Dealer. • Look for ways to increase revenue, events and disciplines at the facility. • Provide high levels of customer service to members and visitors and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience.
