Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 10 SSAA NSW Bananacoast Centrefire Championships Saturday 22 to Monday 24 August The benchrest event will be held at the Dairyville Range in Coffs Harbour and hosted by SSAA NSW Coffs Harbour Branch. Saturday 22 August: Light Varmint Sunday 23 August: Heavy Varmint Monday 24 August: Experimental Weigh-in at 7am for a 7.30am start. Fee: Nominations $50 per class with junior nominations at half price. Nominations can be made on their website. SSAA NSW Wagga Wagga Blue Heeler Fly Weekend Saturday 29 to Sunday 30 August SSAA NSW Wagga Wagga Branch is hosting their annual Blue Heeler Fly Weekend shoot at the Big Springs Rifle Range. Friday 28 August: Open from 12pm to set up flags and practice Saturday 29 August: 9am start 300m Fly (custom & factory classes - may shoot both classes) Sunday 30 August: 8.30am start 500m Fly (light & heavy gun - may shoot both classes) Fee: Nominations for 300m Fly are $30 for first class, $10 for second class and for 500m Fly: $50 for first class, $40 for second class. SSAA National Hunter Class Championships Thursday 27 to Monday 31 August SSAA Queensland and their Rockhampton Branch is hosting the Championships at the Cawarral Shooting Complex at 402 Tookers Road, Cawarral. Thursday 27 August: Practice Friday 28 August: Light Rimfire Hunter Saturday 29 August: Heavy Rimfire Hunter Sunday 30 August: Heavy Centrefire Hunter Monday 31 August: Light Centrefire Hunter Weigh-in at 6.30am each day with the competition starting at 7.30am. Fee: Adults $45 per event, juniors (under 18) $22.50 per event. Please note whether you are left- or right-handed shooter and if you are sharing equipment/flags and with whom. SSAA NSW Combined Services Discipline State Titles Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September SSAA NSW Mudgee Branch is hosting this year's Combined Services Discipline State Titles, a formal competition using a range of historical military rifles and modern service pistols. Friday 18 September: 8:30am sign on for service pistol, training rifle and martini cadet Saturday 19 September: 8:30am sign on for standard and modified/accurised rifle Sunday 20 September: 8:30am sign on for sniper and tactical matches Fee: $75 for all events and $30 for juniors.
