Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 5 Range setters came up with some challenging targets, utilising the new completed permanent 5-stand layout and their high ground area. The top layout had a very fast rabbit which tested the shooters ability, a great number of these were missed. Targets were set amongst the trees and on top of the mound, giving the shooters an overhead target and a variety of crossing targets which were very visible. While the targets on the bottom permanent layout were low crossers with a couple of very high loopers. Competition winners received a nice prize pool of ammo supplied by the club and wine supplied by sponsors Casella Wines. The next and third State Selection Shoot will be held on Saturday 13 February at Griffi th, see the Noticeboard and Events on page 10 and 11 for more details.
