Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW) Inc. 17 At most of the events, we had special guests from Devil Ark join us, two adorable baby Tasmanian Devils and their carers made the long journeys from Barrington Tops to meet with visitors and to help spread news about their plight. SSAA NSW's project partnership with Devil Ark is dedicated to ensuring the survival of the endangered Tasmanian devil at risk of extinction due to a disease known as Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD), fi rst discovered in the mid-1990s and now spreading at an alarming rate. The work done at Devil Ark is crucial to the survival of these and many other native species facing the threat of extinction. With the reception and success SSAA NSW received at this year's events, we'll be back in 2018 to continue promoting our great sport. So, if you fi nd yourself attending any of these events next year, stop by and say hello whilst you're there and fi nd out more about what your SSAA NSW membership can do for you.
